About Page

On this page, you’ll get to know a little more about me, who I am, what I’m interested in, why I made this website, and a few other things. I will probably change this page from time to time. My interests might change, and I’ll probably have some new things to add anyway.

Who are you?

I’m the most regular person imaginable. I study at Roskilde University in Denmark. My Danish is far from perfect, Nevertheless, I decided to study something where I have to talk with people directly. Some might say that’s not the smartest thing to doand I agree. I guess, I believe that difficult things help shape who we are.

Interests

At the moment, I mostly read books about pedagogy, but whenever I have some free time, I like reading a lot of philosophy as well. I’ll probably disappoint some people when I say that my favorite is ancient Greek philosophy, since that’s probably the most boring and predictable answer you could give. But hey, it’s true.

Besides that, I really like tinkering with Linux systems! I like the feeling of having a system that I set up myself. I’m not really a creative person, so I guess computers and messing around with them are kind of my way of being creative when I have the time.

I also host small Minecraft servers for my friends on some of my old laptops! It’s actually a lot of fun, and if you care about the environment, you might also like the idea of not just throwing away your old devices when you stop using them.

I like discussion about religion! I find it really interesting to hear a theistic perspective on life, since it’s a perspective I don’t have myself, and that’s exactly why I want to learn more about it. I’m especially interested in the major monotheistic Abrahamic religions, but I’m also happy to talk about Buddhism.

Languages are also a big part of my life. I think languages open up a lot of new possibilities and perspectives, and I really enjoy learning them. At the moment, I can speak Danish, English, Ukrainian, and Russian. Hopefully, I’ll find the time to learn something else as well.

One of the reasons I started this blog is actually pretty simple, I promised myself that I would write (or type, I guess) morein English.
